SANTA'S COUNTDOWN CALENDAR Children will have fun counting down the days until Christmas by watching Santa's beard grow with this Advent calendar craft.
Materials: Li'l Hands Construction paper
Li'l Hands Oil Pastel
Lotus Permanent Marker.
Gold Medal White Glue
Amspec Scissors

cotton balls
Steps: 1. Draw and color Santa's face and hat on a colorful piece of Li'l Hands Construction paper. Color the design with Li'l Hands Oil Pastel then add some lines using Lotus Permanent Marker.
2. Cut out the design and glue it onto a piece of cardboard to make it sturdier.

Using Lotus Permanent Marker, draw circles on the beard then write dates from December 1 to 24.
To use - Add a cotton ball each day in December
Beginning on December 1st, glue a cotton ball onto the circle marked 1. On December 2nd, add another cotton ball on spot 2, and so on, until the 24th, when Santa's beard will be complete!
