1. Don't try to open out dry mussel shells, or they will come apart. Instead, soak the shells in warm water overnight. Open them out gently and place them face down on a board.
2. When the open shells have dried, paint the shells with magic touch. Turn the shells over and paint the dark side. Let it dry.
3. When the magic touch have dried, decorate each one using Li'l Hands Pearl or Poster paint. Make different patterns of butterflies. Repeat the painting process at the back of the shells.
4. When it dries, mix Gold Medal White Glue to a small amount of water then brush it onto the shell butterflies for a glossy finish. Set aside.
6. Knot the nylon thread on the BBQ stick then tie the other ends around the shell butterflies. Arrange them at different heights.
