SUMMER CRAFTS

ZOO ANIMAL FAN
Ready for hot days and sticky nights? Welcome to the jungle! Create wild animals that capture the colors of the summer with this wild & colorful fan.

Materials:

T Pencil
Li'l hands Oil Pastel or Crayons
Lotus Permanent Marker (black)
Li'l Hands Craft Scissors
Li'l Hands Art Paper
Gold Medal White Glue
Recycled file folder
Craft Sticks

Steps:
1. With T Pencil draw the shape of your favorite animal on a recycled file
    folder. Experiment with different faces and try unusual shapes for the
    animal.
2. Using Li'l Hands Craft Scissors cut out the shape. Make two pieces of your     animal to make it back-to-back.
3. Using Lil Hands Oil Pastel, create designs on your fan with different     features of an animal. Outline them with black Lotus permanent marker if     you wish.
4. Use Li'l Hands Art Paper to add patterns or shapes on your animal fan.     Each animal will be uniquely colorful.

5. Use Gold Medal glue to attach the animal faces together, back to back. For the fan handle, slide 2 pieces of craft sticks between the two layers before the glue dries. Air-dry your fan. For more fun, add patterns or designs to the fan handle. Stay cool!
