MUSEO PAMBATA GUIDES CORNER 7TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Li’l Hands Club celebrated with Museo Pambata in during its 7th year anniversary last July 13, 2008.  Kids who attended the fair availed of the free registration extended by the Li’l Hands Club. New members were given Li’l Hands Mechanical pencils.  Li’l Hands also brought “Douglas the Dog” to render a dance number and to have pictures taken with the kids.  The Li’l Hands Club was able to gather 70 new members. The event was also sponsored by AMSPEC’s T-Pencil, which provided giveaway pencils for games and raffle draw prizes.

Li’l Hands Club members concluded the last part of their summer vacation with a blast through the Li’l Hands Club Back-to-School Funday, held on May 24 at the Music Hall, SM Mall of Asia.  As early as ten in the morning Li’l Hands Club members piled up at the registration area with their parents to participate in this bi-annual gathering.  They were given lootbags full of giveaway items from the sponsors and discount coupons from Yamaha School of Music.
Five (5) early birds received gift packs from Golden Oats Plus. Ericka Lilam, a Li’l Hands Club member, offered a beautiful prayer for the activity.  With the welcome remarks from AMSPEC HRD Manager, Ms. Leonarda Francisco, the program officially started.   The students from Yamaha School of Music, a tie-up establishment of Li’l Hands Club, rendered a band performance. Three (3) workshop categories were designed for Li’l Hands Club art enthusiasts.  Li’l Hands Category (Category 1), taught the starter tykes from 4 to 6 years old to create a Superstar Tote Bag with the guidance of their parents.  Crayola Category (Category 2) challenged kids ages 7 to 9 years old to artistically furnish a Pen Holder.  Lastly, Lotus Category (Category 3) inspired the grown-ups from 10-15 years of age to style up their Locker Mirror using different variants of the new fluorescent liquid marker Lotus Glowstix. 3 winners per category received a gift packs consisting of different products from the sponsors and special school supplies from Li’l Hands, Crayola and Lotus. Non-workshop participants listened to storytelling and joined in the origami workshop catered to them by Museo Pambata.   Photo-op areas were set-up at the event venue where kids can take pictures at the standees of Ms. Crayola, Mr. Mongol, Li’l Hands Douglas the Dog and, Annie and Andy.  Different artworks using AMSPEC products was displayed at the exhibit area.   Raffle Draws and parlor games showered the participants with imported Crayola items, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and other premium items from sponsors.

Li’l Hands Douglas the Dog, Ms. Crayola and Mr. Mongol have been busy touring different places of the Philippines from nearby Metro Manila areas to farther Vis-Min provinces.  The month-long tour started in Metro Manila with the three mascots alternately visiting the branches of National Book Store and Shoemart Stationery and Supplies from May 7 to May 22.  In the middle of NCR tour, Li’l Hands Douglas the Dog bade goodbye to Mr. Mongol and Ms. Crayola to fly to Mindanao (CDO-Davao-GenSan) and visit the customers there from May 14 to May 21.  Li’l Hands Douglas the Dog was able to join the grade school students of Ateneo De Davao University in their Summer Fair.  After the Mindanao tour, Li’l Hands Douglas the Dog went back to Manila for the Li’l Hands Club Back-to-School Funday at SM Mall of Asia. After some days off , Li’l Hands Douglas the Dog just took some days off then boarded a plane again to go to Visayas (Cebu-Iloilo-Bacolod).   The 1st Li’l Hands Club Funday was celebrated in SM City Cebu on May 31, and on the next day (June 1)Li’l Hands Coloring Contest was done at Metro Gaisano Ayala.  Here is a glimpse of Li’l Hands Douglas the Dog, Mr. Mongol and Ms. Crayola’s  mascot appearances. 

Easter Event at
SM Mall of Asia

SM Mall of Asia hosted a fun-filled Easter Egg Hunt for kids last March 23. Lotus, Li'l Hands, Mongol and Crayola were there to celebrate the special event of Christian faith. Children were thrilled in connecting the dots of their activity sheets with Easter themes using Lotus ballpens and giving color to it with Li'l Hands crayons. Mongol "Ang Lapis ng Magaling" and Crayola "The Art of Childhood" loaded the participants with prizes


heARTS AND CRAFTS WORKSHOP
@ SM PAMPANGA

Eighty (80) students of Mexico Ecumenical Development Center for Children Inc. (MEDCCI) at San Fernando Pampanga enjoyed the "Li'l Hands & Crayola Hearts and Crafts Workshop" which took place at the Events Center of SM City Pampanga on February 13, 2008, in cooperation with SM Stationery and Supplies. Students were taught to create special Valentine cards for their loved ones.

Li'l Hands® Club
invades Cebu Schools

The coolest kiddy art club in Manila went to Cebu to launch the Li'l Hands Club. Li'l Hands offered free membership to students of schools it visited. Children from 3 to 12 years old were encouraged to register for the Li'l Hands club. The lucky schools that Li'l Hands Club was able to grant free membership were: University of Visayas, Paref Springdale and Lahug Christian School.
